DESCRIPTION
Founded in Chicagoland, Morning Jay’s is a nomadic breakfast spot providing fresh baked goods, frozen offerings (including frozen breakfast sandwiches, biscuits, cookie doughs), housemade beverages, as well as pop-up cafes and small event catering, all focused on providing fresh, delicious breakfast in new, unexpected ways.

BRANDING &
LOGO DESIGN
The brand's main goal was to design a logo that reflected a fun, creative, whimsical style. Named after one of the co-owners 'Jay', we went with a Jaybird as apart of the brand identity. The jaybird represents the old saying "early bird gets the worm", harkening to the breakfast centric menu.
Additionally, they wanted a logo that could be easily adjusted to reflect a specific time of year or event. I made sure to keep a simple yet effective design that can be used acrossed different applications.
ICONOGRAPHY
The brand wanted cute and approachable icons to help tell the breakfast story beyond the plate. Each element speaks directly to the specific type of food the concept serves while still being fun and playful.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
I managed and created all the organic social media content for the brand across Tik Tok, Instagram, and Substack. Created various types of photo and video social posts, some garnering thousands to even millions of views. In 2 months since launching the accounts, I have 3x the brand's Instagram following and 3x the Tik Tok following.
PHOTOGRAPHY & MOTION
I lead the creative direction and production for all photo and video content for the brand. Since we were capturing their menu staples, the brand wanted something that felt young and fresh but also timeless, leaning heavy into the textures of each menu item.
