The brand

Bartesian makes cocktail machines for home bartenders who want a premium drink without the effort. The product sits at the intersection of convenience and occasion, which means the creative has to do two things at once: make the machine feel aspirational and make the moment around it feel real.

the brief

Over multiple campaigns, Bartesian brought me in to produce photo and video content for their biggest seasonal moments: a holiday and Black Friday gifting campaign, a fall and Halloween campaign, and a spring brunch campaign built around the launch of their Bloody Mary and Spicy Bloody Mary cocktails.

Each campaign required assets that could run across site, social, email, and paid media, all from a single production.

Production & Creative Direction

Every campaign started with pre-production. I handled quoting, contracts, location scouting via Peerspace, talent sourcing and casting, wardrobe direction, food styling coordination, and prop planning. The briefs called for upscale residential locations with kitchen and entertaining spaces that felt lived-in but aspirational, and I was responsible for finding and booking them.

live on set

On set, I directed talent, managed crew, and made real-time creative decisions to keep the work on brief while staying flexible enough to capture everything each campaign needed.

The holiday campaign alone required 50 still assets across multiple machines, cocktails, and lifestyle setups, shot across two days with a full talent roster. The Bloody Mary brunch campaign added a 30-second video to the mix, with a six-person cast and a full lifestyle set built around the spring hosting occasion.

The final product

Delivered 70-plus still assets and multiple video edits across three campaigns, in both portrait and landscape formats, for use across Bartesian's site, social, email, and paid media channels.
